TechPicks Rating ★★★★★ PerfectTrying to purchase a fitness tracker nowadays can be kind of complicated. If you search fitness tracker on Amazon you probably will find thousands of them. Many of us, however, are looking for a fitness tracker that can do more than just track steps.
For me the perfect fitness tracker should be able to do or have the following: You would think that I am lying if I said that you can get all of the above features, and more, for under $50. Yes! for 37.99 (discounted price, 69.99 MSRP) The Fit T3 activity tracker by OUMAX meets all the criteria of the ideal activity tracker (minus the GPS). ProsThe bands are made out of soft rubber, and I didn't have any issue with comfort. I wore the tracker for three days even during sleep. The only time I took it off was to shower. Unfortunately it isn't waterproof, however, it is water resistant. So don't submerge it in water and you should be fine.
The step and calorie counter on the OUMAX Fit T3 is surprisingly accurate for a fitness tracker in its price range. What blew my mind the most is the accuracy of its sleep tracking. Using the app you can set the tracker to automatically monitor your sleep, or you can use the manual setting by pressing the sleep icon on the tracker right before you go to bed, then again when you wake up.
I used the Auto Sleep feature and it worked like a champ. The app will record your sleep quality as deep or light sleep, as well as the duration of each cycle. If your phone rings or you receive any notifications from the mentioned apps the band will vibrate, and it will show you the notification on the screen. While you can see the notifications you won't be able to reply to them. Find My Phone - As long as you are within Bluetooth range you can slide left on the tracker and press the "find" button which will send a signal to your phone and it will make it ring even if it is on silent.
Camera Remote - You can use the tracker as a camera remote shutter. Just open the Zeroner App and choose camera mode, then choose the camera shutter icon on the tracker to take pictures.
Palm Gesture - Flick your wrist toward you to wake up the screen. This feature works great if you are standing, sitting, or walking, but not so good while lying down.
Sedentary Reminders - This feature needs to be worked on. The tracker is supposed to vibrate if you have been inactive for too long. However, when I turn it on it just vibrates every 30 minutes no matter what my activity status is.
Silent Alarm - This is a great feature to have if you live with a partner, and you don't want to bother them with your loud alarm. Use the Zeroner app to set the alarm and the tracker will vibrate when the alarm goes off. However, I did find the vibration a little weak.
